A small place with its own trees

Wadsworth has about 700 residents, and its median home dates from 1983 (U.S. Census Bureau, ACS 2020-2024; very small place, treat as approximate). About 43% of homes were built before 1980, and about 29% are mobile or manufactured. Trees on these lots tend to be older shade trees and windbreaks, and they sit close to low rooflines. The arborist checks distance, weight and decay.

Dry climate, river corridor

The Fernley 2.6 WNW station, 3.0 miles from town at 4,170 feet, averages 7.61 inches of precipitation a year (NOAA 1991-2020 normals). The Wadsworth 4 N station, 4 miles away at 4,000 feet, shows an average temperature of 52.5 degrees F. Low rainfall means irrigation or river proximity decides tree health, and the arborist asks about both.

How do I book a visit in Wadsworth?

Call 775.232.8243. Because Wadsworth is about 48 miles from the yard, the office will plan the visit with you rather than quote an arrival time. After the walk you receive plain answers and a personalized proposal for any work recommended.

What a consultation involves

The arborist reads each tree from the crown down: dead wood, thin foliage, forks, cracks, cavities, the base and the roots, and then what is underneath. After that comes a straight answer and, for work that makes sense, a proposal that says what, why and in what order. If a tree needs nothing, the answer is nothing.
