Managing trees across a property is different from one yard. These answers cover estimates, paperwork, emergencies and winter service.

Do you work for businesses, HOAs and property managers?

Yes. Our residential and commercial tree services always include a free estimate before any further action is taken. We handle tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, defensible space, lot clearing and snow removal. Tell the office who the decision maker is and which properties are involved. Property managers can read about how we work with HOAs and managers, and businesses can see commercial properties.

Can you write one estimate for many trees or a whole site?

Yes, send us a list or walk the property with the arborist. Estimates are detailed and easy to understand, so a board or owner can follow them. Tell us which trees are priorities and which can wait. We tailor each estimate to the client, and you can ask for items to be listed separately. The estimate form takes up to five photos, which helps when you manage several sites. Start at the estimate form.

Can you provide proof of insurance?

We are licensed and fully insured, and our Nevada Business License number is 20131580674. Call the office and tell them what your property or board requires, such as a certificate for a file. We do not publish policy limits or terms, so please ask the office directly. Our guide on proof of insurance lists what to ask any tree service for before work starts.

Does the HOA need to approve the work?

Check first. Many HOAs require approval, especially for trees in front yards or common areas. A written estimate helps when you take the request to the board. We do not set HOA rules, and your covenants decide. Ask the board what they need, such as the location of each tree and the work planned. Our guide covers HOA tree rules and what to check first.

Can you remove trees close to buildings in a busy complex?

Our equipment is chosen for it. The crane and 75-foot boom truck handle trees close to structures, wires and other obstacles, with less impact on the surroundings. The arborist plans around parking, walkways and building entrances at the visit. Tell the office when the property is busiest. We do not promise a schedule, but the visit is the place to talk about timing and access. See crane-assisted removal.

Do you offer snow removal contracts?

Yes. We plow, haul, shovel and salt for offices, shopping centers, medical facilities, retail stores, industrial properties and residential properties. We offer a custom flat rate to ongoing customers. Describe the lot, the entrances and the hours your tenants need access. Terms are agreed with the office. Our guide on what a commercial snow contract should cover lists the questions. See snow removal questions.

Who do we call after hours for a fallen tree?

Call 775.232.8243. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day, and the phone line is staffed seven days a week. If anyone is hurt, call 911, and if a line is involved, call NV Energy before anyone goes near the tree. After severe storms our priority is existing clients, so an ongoing relationship helps. We do not promise arrival times. See emergency questions.

Can you help with fire mitigation for a community or a large parcel?

Yes. We assess fire risks, remove fire fuel and build a defensible zone, using brush mowing, trimming, debris removal and tree health assessment. Equipment includes a masticating head, brush mower and track loader for larger ground. Describe the acreage and the slope. Fire districts may also run evaluations or chipping programs worth asking about, and we can work to a district's direction. See defensible space questions.

Can you clear land before a project?

Yes. Lot clearing, brush mowing, masticating, logging, and backhoe and skid steer services are on our service list. Builders and landowners usually need trees, brush and stumps cleared before a project begins. Tell the office the size of the parcel, the vegetation and when the site will be needed. Permits for development sites are decided by the jurisdiction. See builders and land owners.

How do we pay?

We accept cash and major credit cards. We have not published invoicing terms or accounts for managers, so please ask the office what applies for multiple properties. A written estimate sets out the work first, so everyone knows what is covered before it begins. For a general list of what a good estimate contains, see the guide to reading a tree service estimate.
