Tree service for homeowners

Most calls from homeowners start with a worry: a limb over the roof, a tree that looks dead, roots lifting the walk or brush too close to the house before fire season.

At a glance

• Free, detailed estimate that is easy to understand
• A certified arborist assesses the tree before work begins
• Our own crane and 75-foot boom truck for trees near the house
• Phones answered seven days a week

What homeowners ask us for most

Old neighborhoods in Carson City and Reno have big cottonwoods, elms and pines that were planted decades ago and now stand over roofs and fences. Newer subdivisions have young trees that need shaping, and stumps left by the builder.

Whatever the tree, the arborist tells you plainly whether it needs to come out or whether pruning will do. We want your trees healthy, and we do not want you to feel like a number.

How a home visit works

1. Call 775.232.8243 or send the estimate form. The phone is answered seven days a week.
2. The arborist walks the yard with you and looks at each tree you are concerned about.
3. You receive a detailed estimate. Ask every question you have.
4. On the day, the crew arrives with the equipment the plan calls for and removes the debris when the work is done.

Before fire season

Many Northern Nevada neighborhoods sit next to wildland. We assess your house's specific fire risks, remove fuel and create a defensible zone. See defensible space and fire mitigation.
