Removal is the right call when a tree is dead, decaying, damaged or crowding a building. Our arborists help you make that decision, and they do not recommend taking down a large tree on your own. It is risky and dangerous work.
Signs a tree may need to come out

Some signs are easier to spot than others. A certified arborist has a trained eye for underlying problems such as interior decay.

What happens to the stump
When a tree is cut down you are left with a stump, which can be a hazard. Stump grinding removes it from the ground and keeps new growth from coming up from the roots, so you can plant grass, shrubs or a new tree. Estimates are tailored to each client, so tell the arborist if you want the stump ground.

Can I remove a large tree myself?
We do not recommend it. Large tree removal is risky and dangerous.
Do you remove fruit trees and small trees too?
Yes. From a large cottonwood to a fruit tree, we remove trees of any size.
